We have blueberry blossom honey for the first time in YEARS!! This springtime honey is produced when the rains stop and the temps rise long enough for the bees to get out and forage the blueberry fields in which they have been placed...(and big leaf maple, dandelion, apple, and various other flowering brassicas and spring blossoms, all blooming at the same time!). This honey was produced from blueberry farms in Lynden, WA, in the very northwest of the Pacific Northwest, right up by the Canadian border!
This honey has a distinctive taste, it is herbaceous and floral, like roses! It likes to crystallize fast, so you will be warming it back up sooner than later, or scooping it into tea and letting it melt! We have a limited amount of this wonderful honey, we hope you enjoy it's unique flavor while you can!
